Andrew Cohen

Andrew Cohen is an award-winning Chicago-based filmmaker, actor, comedian, and podcaster. He graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2022 with a degree in comedy writing and performance.

He is known for co-writing the 2021 film The Unkind as well as writing, directing, and starring in the 2024 short film The Moment. His script, Wallington, was a finalist in the 2023 WeScreenplay College Competition, as well as a quarterfinalist in the 2021 Slamdance Screenplay Competition.

Cohen has performed stand-up comedy and improv on a variety of stages including The Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, the former Caroline's On Broadway, and more. He starred as Michael in the upcoming feature film His. Cohen has also hosted the podcasts Getting Real With Andrew Cohen as well as co-hosting Two Broke Sophomores with George Long where he interviewed several teenage stars, including Jeremy Ray Taylor, Robert Capron, Ashley Liao, and more.

He is currently in development on a variety of feature films and short films.
